Children up to the age of 5.99 (summer season: May – October) or 8.99 years (winter season: November – April) travel for free. Children up to the age of 15.99 with a Junior Card/Swiss Family Card also travel free of charge to the Gornergrat. You don’t need to buy a ticket; you can pick up a free ticket for the entrance gates at the counter.
