The Gornergrat is easy to access with the cogwheel mountain train. No need to be afraid of heights, you always stay on the safe ground. Within 35 minutes it takes you up to the viewpoint at 3’135 metres above sea level. There you have a stunning view on twenty-nine 4,000-metre high peaks, including the iconic Matterhorn. You can also see the impressive Gorner glacier, the third longest glacier in the Alps.
