Gornergrat beer to mark the anniversary

To celebrate the 125th anniversary of the Gornergrat Railway, we got together with local brewery Zermatt Bier to launch our very own Gornergrat beer: this involved simply rebadging its Spezialbier Matterhorn. Made using the purest water from the mountains around Zermatt, this amber beer boasts a magnificent malt and caramel flavour. As well as being brewed in Zermatt, the live product is both unpasteurised and unfiltered.

A design for the Gornergrat Railway

The bottle’s label design was modified for the 125th anniversary of the Gornergrat Railway. Picked out in black and gold, it depicts a historic Gornergrat Railway locomotive with the Matterhorn in the background
