The trails on the Gornergrat offer a mix of easy to challenging routes. With views of the surrounding mountain landscape, the Gornergrat is a great starting point for mountain bike tours of varying difficulty levels.
The bike season for this year has come to an end. We are looking forward to summer 2025.
Important information
A reservation is required if you wish to transport your bike on the Gornergrat Railway.
Mandatory reservation
The reservation costs CHF 10.00 per bike and per trip. This fee is not included in the ticket price (e.g., one-way tickets, Bike Pass, Peak Pass) and can be booked via the form below.
Please note that reservations cannot be canceled or refunded.
Bookable routes
The transport of bikes on the train is only possible from Zermatt to the Gornergrat. You ride down on your bike, of course. You cannot board the train with your bike at en route stations.
Bookable times
The bike season lasts from 08.06.2024 to 20.10.2024.
You can take your bike on the train between 08:00 and 09:12 and from 15:30. Booking on a specific train is mandatory.
Capacity
Transport facilities for up to 12 bikes are available for each available connection.
