Challenge Trail (Nr. 141)

The snowshoe trail from Gornergrat to Rotenboden only goes downhill: the 1.7 km route goes from the Gornergrat alongside the railway track down to Rotenboden, 274 m lower down. The snowshoe route is marked every 100 metres with pink poles and is easy to complete without a mountain guide.
